La Soufflerie's Angelois is a memorable, eye-catching drinking glass crafted from molds of 200-year-old plaster heads found in the basement of Saint Sulpice Church in Paris. While the original sculpture was of a monks's head, La Soufflerie transforms the design into a functional piece of drinkware, creating a perfect blend of art and functionality.
As this is entirely made by hand, there may be a slight variation in color, texture, and size between each piece. On the base of each item, you can feel the pontil mark left by the glassblower’s cane. The presence of this mark indicates that the glass was blown freehand.
